Trick Training...
Trick training is more than teaching cute behaviors. It is a way of bonding, communicating and building confidence with your canine partner. A trick comprises three parts, the first being a verbal or physical cue to your dog, signaling the desired behavior. The second part is the action performed by your dog, and the third is the reward. Trick training is fun, engaging and mentally stimulating for your dog and helps your dog stay focused on you.
Desert Dogs offers trick training classes every Saturday at 12:45pm. These are $15 drop-in classes where you will learn a new trick every class. Pre-requisits for joining the class are a working knowledge of sit and down. Please come prepared for class by bringing some high value rewards (treats) and a clicker. If you do not have these items, we sell the products at our facility.
