Tracking and trailing...
![]()
The tracking program teaches a dog to follow a scent with its nose to the ground. Crushed vegetation, weather, temperature, and other environmental variables will all play a part in your dog's ability and desire to track. Tracking can be used to find anything that will leave a trail upon the ground such as: People, wild game, missing objects, etc.
For the most effective dog, it is suggested that you do this in conjunction with scent-detection.
You and your dog will be required to have the minimum of on-leash, off-leash and soft mouth retrieval.
