Our roots...
Desert Dogs- Canine Training and Behavior Modification was established in Tucson, Arizona back in December of 2008. Desert Dogs brought forth a very new concept of training that has taken the residents of Tucson by surprise! Since then, Desert Dogs has participated in many local pet events around the Tucson area, including the "Tucson Canine Classic" and "The Arizona Animal Fair".
In June of 2009, Anthony called in Brittany to help train his own dogs. After working together for a couple months Anthony found a strong interest in the training world. Brittany could easily see there was great potential in him. After some deep thought, Anthony decided to follow Brittany as her apprentice and become a trainer himself. In April of 2010, Anthony left for National K-9 School for Dog Trainers in Columbus, Ohio and became a certified professional trainer. Both Brittany and Anthony are now graduates of Nation K-9 School of Dog Trainers and are certified in 12 different areas of dog training.
Desert Dogs believes every dog should be evaluated on an individual basis. Breed should never be to blame for any kind of unwanted behavior or aggression. Desert Dogs will continue to oppose breed specific legislation and educate owners through seminars and one on one, private in home lessons.
